Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in both MIG and TIG processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a vital part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components in a construction site or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials according to project specifications.
- Assemble metal components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Fabricate parts based on blueprints and schematics, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Operate forklifts as needed to transport materials within the work area.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain production flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding; additional experience with FCAW is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment, adapting to varying conditions.
